Material & care

Material & use
3D printed in PLA in my studio. Made for polymer clay and other craft projects.

Care
Hand wash with mild soap and cool or lukewarm water. Never use hot water. Not dishwasher safe. Keep away from heat: PLA can soften and warp in a hot car, near a radiator or in the oven. Remove the cutter before baking your clay. Store flat in a cool, dry place.

Details

Bring the tropical garden into your home with our Hibiscus Flower Trinket Dish Cutter. This 4-inch large-format cutter is designed specifically for creating stunning jewelry dishes, soap trays, or decorative catch-alls. Its iconic tropical petal silhouette is the perfect functional addition to the Summer 2026 collection.

Designed for Home Decor

Unlike standard earring cutters, this large-format tool is built to handle thicker clay slabs. It’s perfect for creating:

  • Jewelry Dishes: The ideal size for holding rings, earrings, and necklaces.
  • Giftable Art: Create beautiful, hand-painted tropical dishes for friends and customers.
  • Versatile Media: Works beautifully with polymer clay, air-dry clay, and even ceramic clay.

Quality & Precision

  • Durable PLA+: 3D printed with high-quality, reinforced PLA for maximum stability during large-scale pressing.
  • Optimal Edge Sharpness: While larger in scale, the cutting wall is tapered to provide a clean slice through thicker slabs (3mm to 5mm), reducing the need for heavy sanding.
  • Sturdy Grip: Features a wide, ergonomic top rail to allow for even pressure distribution across the 4-inch surface.

Specifications

  • Size: 4.00 inches (101.6 mm) at its widest point.
  • Depth: Designed to cut through slabs up to 15mm deep.

Pro Tip for Dishes

After cutting your hibiscus shape, place the clay over a bowl or a shallow dome-shaped form before baking to give your trinket dish its functional "curved" depth. We recommend using a release agent (like cornstarch) for the most intricate petal curves.
