Details
This Nordic sheep polymer clay cutter makes a fluffy little lamb for winter and Christmas earrings. One press cuts the sheep and imprints curly swirls of wool all over its body, plus the eye and the leg lines.
I love how the embossed lines take paint, mica powder or a soft wash, so the wool pattern stands out on finished earrings, pendants and ornaments.
What you get
-
Single Cutter: 1 cutter, facing as shown in the photos
-
2 Cutter Mirror Set: the original + a mirrored cutter, so your earrings face each other as a matching pair
Size
Size is the longest side of the cut shape, measured on the inner cutting edge (the width for this design).
- 1.25 inch: 32 x 25 mm (width x height)
- 1.5 inch: 38 x 30 mm (width x height)
- Cutter height: 11 mm (0.43 in)
Details
- Sharp cutting edge, with the raised embossing lines set slightly lower, so the outline cuts through while the lines press the pattern into the surface
- 3D printed in resin in my studio, made to order
- Wide flat base for comfortable, even pressure
- Designed for polymer clay jewelry: earrings, pendants, charms, magnets and ornaments
How to use
- Roll your clay to about 2.5-3 mm (1/8 in) thick.
- Optional: lay plastic wrap over the clay for soft, rounded edges.
- Press straight down firmly, give a small wiggle and lift.
- If clay sticks in the fine lines, dust the cutter with cornstarch or chill the clay for a few minutes first.
Care
Wash by hand with lukewarm soapy water and let it dry fully. Keep it away from heat and direct sunlight. Not dishwasher safe.
The clay pieces in the photos show the design; only the cutter(s) are included.
